WRAS is dedicated to helping sick and injured animals in north London and parts of Hertfordshire and Essex.

Since the 1980's the group has been called upon to rescue and care for many thousands of animals, birds and reptiles, most of whom would without doubt have died without the rapid and expert help that they received.

The group is officially recognised (and frequently called upon) by the RSPCA, Metropolitan Police, Hertfordshire Police, Essex Police, London Borough of Enfield, Lee Valley Regional Park, Peoples Dispensary For Sick Animals, Borough of Broxbourne etc etc.

We regularly give slide lectures about our work and about wildlife in general. Please contact us if we can give a lecture to a group in which you are involved.
