Parish Hirer Lives within Ockley, Forest Green, Walliswood and Okewood Hill.
Other Hirers Lives anywhere else
‘Regular’ private hirer Books the hall for five or more occasions in any six month period. Examples are likely to be ‘societies’, ‘groups’ etc; e.g. Brownies, Guides, Dramatic Society, Mother and Toddler, Youth Group etc (this list is not exhaustive).
‘Occasional or one-off’ hirer Someone hiring the hall for a party (for example). AGMs (when the hall is not otherwise hired during the year), occasional meetings, occasional band practice etc also comes under this heading. (This list is not exhaustive).
‘Commercial’ hirer Hires the hall to provide a service and makes a charge, either for entry or to participate, and probably makes a personal profit from it.Examples of a one-off hire would be a Book Fair, Carpet Sales Fair. ‘Regular’ hire would include Dog Training classes, Fitness Classes etc (this list is not exhaustive).
‘Public event’ local society, group etc who are opening up the hall for general or specific members of the public to attend. Examples of a Public Event include: Dramatic Society productions, Jumble Sales, Harvest Suppers etc.
Hire period From time of entry until departure with hall tidy. (decoration of hall or set up must be paid for as part of hire period).
Summer May – September incl.
Winter October – April incl.
Nursery: £550 per term
Brownie Camps: £20 per day (or part)
Committee Room: £3 per hour (or part)
Polling Station: £160 per day.
