I am an ultrasound scanning specialist

I am a Consultant Radiologist at The Royal Free Hospital in London and I have a private practice at 50 Harley Street.

In my Harley Street practice I specialise in diagnostic ultrasound scanning and I also perform ultrasonic heel bone density.
The heel bone density is done with Hologic kit-this test is now accepted for insurance cover in the USA.I have done about 80 cases and the test is accepted by insurers in the UK and is a good indicator of osteoporosis or significant bone density loss.

I do all types of ultrasound scanning from obstetrics to cardiac scans,soft tissues to vascular.My practice was originally built on a special interest in ovarian ultrasound fertility scanning and has grown from that.

I have had a wide experience in Radiology which includes a special interest in diagnostic ultrasound scanning,and various aspects of general radiology including cardiac and vascular topics and I had the first private CT scanner in the Harley Street area,an ElScint Excel 905 which I set up in practice in The London Imaging Centre which was a practice founded by myself.

I was the first person to have a mobile CT scanner in the UK.This scanning unit functioned at numerous centres over a period of years in the 1980's one of which was The East Birmingham Hospital where the unit was directed by Dr Philip Robertson.

I have been a Consultant in the Health Service for 30 years and specialise in ultrasound scanning
