Christo's - New Gallery In Glasgow

A brand new Glasgow Gallery and Gift Shop, 'with an unrivalled range of beautiful items from a host of Scottish artists' has recently opened in the Westend of Glasgow. Louise Burns, owner of Christo’s, is delighted to have secured a prime location at 595 Great Western Road and is confident that her wide range of art and gifts will tempt the discerning west end shoppers. Work by Joseph McLaughlin, Kirsten Harris and Mary Batchelor is on show together with Gifts, Jewellery, Ceramics and Glass by Scottish designers. Simple Pleasures by Joseph McLaughlin “I have spent months sourcing items from mainly Scottish based artists and designers and have something that should appeal to most tastes. Although there are plenty of shops locally, I think that Christo’s will fill an obvious gap by providing a diverse range of original works.” Louise’s stock includes oils and watercolours by Laura Beveridge, Iain Carby, Ian S. Elliot, David Oudney, Amaryliss Johnston and a number of new artists; Textiles from Global Guru, Jewellery by Louise Pringle and Silver by Temperley; Glasswork by Elin Isaksson and ceramics by Angela Hughes. Cards and creative giftwrapping will also be available. A number of special opening events are planned for June with customers invited to take advantage of a host of initial offers.
