Oil on Cut Canvas 12 x 72 inches On a contemplative day I painted this little self-portrait onto an offcut from an old canvas. I personally feel it captures my mood on that day, and for that reason I am quite fond of it. Anastasia Lennon graduated from Glasgow School of Art 1992, winner of the prestigious Greenshield Award for Portraiture. The body of her degree work was a powerful ironic take on contemporary goddess icons for the 21st century. Anastasia specialises in portraiture and more recently has completed some abstract pieces based on mystical texts.
